Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Hire Agreement.
Equipment
The equipment on hire shall remain the absolute property of Camerent.
All equipment is tested before shipping. It is your responsibility to check upon receipt of the equipment that it is in good working order and in an undamaged condition.
Camerent will not be responsible for any defects or deficiencies in the equipment unless immediate notification has been made by telephone to 0871-8733158 upon receipt of the equipment, and followed by written confirmation.
It is your responsibility to ensure the equipment on Hire is suitable for the purposes you require.
You shall not assign transfer or otherwise part with possession of the equipment during the period of hire.
Loss or Damage to Equipment
You shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the equipment throughout the hire period and shall be liable to the Company for all loss of or damage to the equipment howsoever caused.
You shall be required to repackage the equipment as delivered for return to Camerent.
You shall be liable for all loss of or damage to the equipment in transit.
You shall notify the Company of any loss or damage to any equipment on hire immediately of such loss or damage being sustained.
You shall pay to Camerent all costs for repairs
Limitation of liability
If Camerent for any reason is unable to provide any equipment which is the subject of an agreement between Camerent and the Hirer, Camerent will not be liable for any loss or consequential loss suffered by the hirer.
Cancellation
Any order cancelled by you within 48 hours of the date when the period of hire was to commence, you shall be liable to pay to Camerent a cancellation charge equal to and not exceeding the agreed hire charge.
All other cancellations will ocur a25% administration fee or a minimum charge of £50.00.
Reservations
Upon booking of equipment, either by phone or on the Internet, Camerent shall charge the rental charge.
Proof of identification and these Terms and Conditions, signed by you, must be sent before any order will be dispatched. In the event of the paperwork not being available and Camerent is unable to contact you, the reservation will be cancelled and the full cancellation will apply.
Deliveries
Camerent will always endeavour to deliver your equipment by 9.30 am on the first day of rental. In most cases we will deliver to you the day before your rental is due to commence
In the event of courier misrouting or error, Camerent will endeavour to deliver the equipment before 9.30am on the chosen date of hire. Camerent cannot guarantee delivery of goods ordered to arrive the next working day and no refund shall be made in the event of late delivery due to courier error.
Payment
Payment of any monies payable to Camerent in respect of any agreement between you and Camerent shall be made to Camerent before any equipment is despatched.
Deposit
You will be required to leave a security deposit before any equipment will be despatched. Camerent will secure this deposit on the same credit/debit card used for payment unless previously agreed otherwise.
In the event of the funds not being available and Camerent is unable to contact you, the reservation will be cancelled and the full cancellation charge will apply.
Indemnity
You shall at all times fully indemnify Camerent, its employees, servants and agents against all actions, costs, claims, demands, proceedings or liabilities arising from or in conjuction with equipment, materials orany other services supplied to you by Camerent.
Refunds
Camerent will only refund customers in the event of goods arriving damaged.
